My name is Magdalena Cichon. For as long as I can remember – for over 45 years now – I have felt an inner need to stand out and emphasize my individuality. As a so-called child of communism, I experienced all the shades of gray and monotony. During those times, through the lens of that grayness,
I came to understand how important it is to create a future full of color and creativity. The energy and power of colors inspire me every day and motivate me to bring my ideas to life.
Drawing from the experiences of the past, I am inspired to make each day an opportunity to express myself in a unique way. My favorite form of self-expression is clothing, which I create myself. I transform old items into new ones, crafting unique and original designs. I make use of existing resources through upcycling and recycling, creating sustainable fashion. I also design products from new materials, bringing to life one-of-a-kind projects. For me, this is not just a way to express myself but also a contribution to protecting our environment. I believe fashion is not just about clothing – it is an expression of our personality and the way we see the world.
